Run, walk, or dance into the chilly waters of Marina “Mother’s” Beach in Marina del Rey on February 28 to raise funds for Special Olympics Southern California. For just a minimum of $50, you can participate in the coolest event of 2015 — the Polar Plunge. Not only will you brave the cold waters, but you’ll have the opportunity to earn incentives, party with friends, and show off your plunge power to help support Special Olympics.

• Form a team. Everyone is welcome.
• Plunge into the ocean or slide down a 20-foot inflatable slide into a pool of ice cold water.
• Too Chicken to Plunge? Register as a chicken, raise $50 or more, and stay OUT of the sub-50 degree waters!
• Dress up! Costumes are encouraged.
Check-In: 8 – 10 a.m.
Vendor Expo: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Plunge: 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
