The Open Hearts Foundation will host its fourth annual Gala on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 6:00 pm at the private home of Jane Seymour & James Keach in Malibu, CA. Hosted by CNN’s Christi Paul, the 2014 event will honor actor Kimberly Williams-Paisley for shining a light on Dementia and its impact on the family and caregivers; KIND Campaign co-founders Lauren Paul & Molly Thompson for combating the lasting effects of bullying; President & CEO of the Arizona Diamondbacks, Derrick Hall for providing a resource for those who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and US Army Staff Sergeant (Ret.)Travis Mills for assisting wounded veterans and their families.
In addition to cocktails, dinner, a live and silent auction, the evening will feature inspirational stories, moving testimonials from honorees that embody the Open Hearts Philosophy, and exciting live musical performances by legendary rock band Cheap Trick and popular folk rock band Delta Rae. Celebrity guests expected to attend.
Established in 2011, the Open Hearts Foundation supports organizations that are committed to positively impacting lives in the areas of health, education, arts and sports. The Open Heart is a universal symbol of giving and receiving love. The annual Open Hearts Gala honors individuals that have overcome adversity through love and service to others. Funds raised from the evening will benefit the Open Hearts Foundation, which supports the honorees’ chosen charities, among others.
