On Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the historic Pasadena City Hall over 600 members of the community will gather for the 51st Annual “An Evening with Star Chefs.” Founded by Julia Childs in 1963, “An Evening with Star Chefs” is Pasadena’s oldest, largest, and most prestigious culinary benefit. Year after year, guests of the event are given a one of a kind opportunity to sample exquisite cuisine prepared by the premiere chefs from some of the area’s most prestigious restaurants.
The theme for this year’s “Star Chefs” will be “A Community that Cares,” as we look to celebrate the community that has helped to make a difference in the lives of thousands of children. Also, for the very first time the event will include a fun interactive competition for the participating restaurants and beverage companies. The competition, including prestigious top chefs in the area, includes the “Best Appetizer,” “Best Entree,” “Best Dessert,” or “Best Drink.”
Tickets are $125.00 before May 31, and $150.00 after May 31. Proceeds will benefit the foster children and youth of Rosemary Children’s Services. For more information about purchasing tickets, sponsorship, or volunteering call (626) 844-3033 ext. 101 or visit www.rosemarychildren.org.
